** Due to the wide variety of Turbo Kits, a Universal intake tube is not included **
Note: This air box utilizes the factory SMIC chassis hole for its third snorkel. To install, you must use a drop-down style intercooler pipe off the turbo compressor outlet.
The Engineering Objective:
This 3D Printed Aluminum Air Box is a low-volume production model being developed for serious single-turbo MkIV Supra builds.
This modern manufacturing process allows us to manufacture the main body as one piece, allowing us to utilize organic shapes and features, traditionally not practical using traditional sheet metal manufacturing techniques.
The goal is to build a sealed induction airbox system that reduces engine-bay air exposure while maintaining serviceability and packaging flexibility
Technical Features & Material Specifications
- Main Airbox Body: Structural AlSi10Mg Aluminum alloy, manufactured utilizing industrial Selective Laser Melting (SLM) metal 3D printing. This enables an organic, seamless internal structure completely unachievable with traditional sheet metal or CNC machining. Integrating the Air Entry allows the main body to be compact.
- Radiator Snorkel: High-temperature, high-rigidity SLS (Selective Laser Sintered) PA12 Glass-Fiber reinforced composite. Designed to replace the original intake air box snorkel that is often missing in many other kits, formed to scavenge ambient air from the front radiator core area.
- Integrated Intake Tube: Engineered with a fully integrated internal bell mouth and combines a continuous, calculated reduction taper. The intake tube begins one size larger at the filter base to smooth out incoming boundary layer turbulence and accelerate total airflow velocity toward the exit track.
- Air Induction Geometry: Features an integrated Quad-Entry architecture. The primary supply channels draw fresh air directly through the existing factory SMIC (Side-Mount Intercooler) chassis piping hole.

Modular Floor Entry: Outfitted with a versatile dual-state bottom access panel.
- Standard Sealed Setup: Features a precision block-off plate and matching gasket to isolate the system from engine bay heat.
- High-Flow Track Configuration: The block off plate can be replaced with an optional bottom-fed duct path for a dedicated 4th air entry route for modified chassis.
- Filtration: Ships with a high performance AFE Air filter with excellent filtration
- Thermal Protection: Includes an independent rear radiant heat shield to actively deflect extreme radiant heat from the exhaust manifold and turbocharger.
- Clear Inspection Lid: Water-jet cut polycarbonate top lid allows quick filter inspection while keeping the engine bay presentation clean.
- Vibration-Isolated Mounting: Silicone sandwich mounts and rubber anti-rocking floor bumpers help isolate chassis/engine vibration, reduce cyclic loading, and protect airbox-mounted accessories such as the optional IAT sensor.
- Hardware & Sensors: Complete premium stainless steel fastener kit. The Main Body features an Anti-Rotation Hex pocket and block-off hardware for a dedicated, optional IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor.
Testing and Availability
This product is still under development and is not yet available for public purchase.
Final production features are being validated before release. Real-world fitment, heat cycling, and IAT/logging data will be collected before any specific performance claims are made.

Lead Time: This is a low volume - made to order product. Please allow an estimated 4 - 5 weeks from order confirmation for QA/QC, packaging, and fulfillment of other manufacturer's component included, as there are over 20 components in this Air box kit.
