Utilizing industrial Selective Laser Melting (SLM) additive manufacturing, the main body is laser 3D printed Aluminum (Alsi10Mg) as a 100% one piece part.
This advanced metallurgical approach allows the use of organic internal geometries that are impossible to execute via traditional sheet metal fabrication or conventional multi-axis CNC machining.

Fluid Dynamics: Features an integrated internal bellmouth, and full reduction geometry towards the outlet to optimize air velocity from the filter face toward the turbocharger inlet.
Induction Pathing: Configured with a standard tri-entry architecture to pull ambient air from multiple chassis high-pressure zones, including a dedicated front radiator core snorkel.
Modular Induction Floor: Outfitted with a dual-state bottom access panel. Standard configuration utilizes a precision block-off plate and gasket to isolate engine bay heat; track configuration permits removal for an optional fourth bottom-fed entry.
Vibration Isolation: Mounted via silicone sandwich dampers to eliminate mechanical resonance, minimize cyclic fatigue loading, and protect delicate electronics like the intake air temperature sensor.

Type B: Configured for a 5-inch AFE filter element with a 4-inch outlet. Tailored for forward-facing turbocharger manifold configurations.
Type C: Configured for a 6-inch AFE filter element with a 5-inch outlet. Tailored for large-frame rotated turbocharger layouts.
Sensor Provisioning: Features a precision anti-rotation hex pocket engineered specifically to seat a RIFE DTM M14 x 1.5 IAT sensor (Part Number: 53-1011). Sensor must be purchased separately.
Intake Tubing Note: Due to the limitless variance among aftermarket single-turbo manifold positions and compressor housing sizes, a universal intake tube is not included.

Chassis Application: 1993–1998 Toyota Supra MKIV (JZA80) with a single-turbocharger conversion.
Chassis Requirements: This system utilizes the factory side-mount intercooler (SMIC) chassis path for its third snorkel inlet.
Installation requires the use of a drop-down style intercooler cold-side pipe off the turbocharger compressor outlet to clear the airbox.
